Use case
Store checks
Store checks are the most common physical question an agent asks: is this place actually open, and does it have what the customer needs?
Typical checks
Is the shop open right now? Is the queue long? Is the product on the shelf? Is the collection point staffed? Has the promotional display gone up?
Retail and hospitality data decays quickly. A check performed this morning is worth more than a listing updated last year.
Keeping it fair to workers
Store checks must stay in public areas. Photographing staff, following people or entering restricted areas is prohibited, and workers are told to report tasks that ask for it.
Example task
Check whether this hardware shop is open and whether replacement gas canisters are in stock.
Evidence required:
- 1 exterior photograph
- 1 photograph of the shelf
- written observation
- location confirmation
